Kami melayani di bidang kesehatan masyarakat, dengan mendistribusikan perbaikan gizi kepada anak-anak dan warga miskin dengan total 48.795 anak berupa telur, kacang hijau, sayur sop, sosis, buah, susu, puding, biskuit, roti, kolak..
Kami melayani di bidang pendidikan, dengan area Pelayanan di 31 desa dan kami dan berhasil mewisuda 310 dari 13 TK yang berada di bawah naungan Yayasan Bina Mandiri Indonesia..

Children who live in the garbage land fill site has enjoyed the Early Education for Children which is not far for 4 years. In the previous place, they have 1 class, no playing field and we are proud to graduate 80 children from this place.
On December 2008, Pelita Harapan University built 1 kindergarten building which is about 500 meter from the previous place in Sewan. This school consist of 2 rooms, that is for library and computer room; 1 multi function room and 2 toilets and washing drains. 12 kinders and 50 tutorial students are happy to have this new classroom.
On January 2009, USAID and US Embassy do a health education and free medical assistance for 410 patients in this place. They taught for how to brush teeth, TB and recycling to the community.
'With his new place, children would not be bothered by garbage's smells. And the field can be used for them to play in. Thank you for Pelita Harapan University students who has a willingto build future generation so they might have a new dream', said Akwila, a teacher in Belajar Mandiri Kindergarten, Sewan, Tangerang.

A new life through water

West Timor is a rocky and unfertile so it would not be good for farming. The harvest is once a year because a lack of water resouce for farming ( dry season is for 8 months ). On the dry season (April to November ) , wells are dried in so many place so it would make the community has no access for clean water, even the 6 years old children ought to bring 2 pails of water for house need. They have to walk for 2kms to get the water. 41,65% of the community are doing farming but 2.4 hectare lands are dried.
The purpose of the activity is :
To build a clean water access for the community for villagers in West Timor.
Increase the economy life in the villages in West Timor.
Prepare and increase the quality of Human Resources.
Activities that have been done in West Timor are :
10 drilled wells in 4 poor villages. The activity of this project is piping, providing water tanks, and water machine.
2 kindergartens in 2 villages, they are in Billa village ( Amanuban region ) and Kuanhium Village ( Am Abi Oefero region ). There is also tutorial, library and providing nutritionous food for children.
